Support Pharmacist Required, Killarney, Co. Kerry.
Six Month Maternity Leave Contract beginning October 1st 2025.
Since 1953, we are located on 34 Main Street in Ireland's leading tourist town Killarney, County Kerry. Working as a part of our experienced team the Support Pharmacist will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our busy dispensary.
The main duties of this roles include:
- To operate the dispensary in accordance with all the legal responsibilities pertaining to the profession of pharmacy.
- To exercise all aspects of law, ethics and codes of practice as set out by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- To ensure the safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
- To interact with other health professionals & work as part of a the pharmacy team (dispensary, retail & online).
- To support the Superintendent Pharmacist & Pharmacy Owner in following up of rejected claims.
- Any other projects and duties where they arise.

- Excellent communication skills and capable of working on own initiative.
Essential Criteria
Knowledge and Experience required:
- Must hold a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
- Ability to deal with high volume dispensing
