Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Supporter Data & Systems Officer to join our team. This role champions the critical function of CRM and data management in transforming fundraising, service delivery, education, and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to optimise data systems, support user adoption, and deliver actionable insights, all while fostering collaboration across the Foundation.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Architecture
- Maintain CRM data accuracy, integrity, and completeness according to data protection regulations and organisational standards.
- Design, implement, and optimise data processes including import, cleansing, enrichment, and archiving.
- Enhance data models and architecture to enable efficient data flow of supporter, service-user, and transactional data.
- Manage bulk data operations and automated pipelines, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
- Monitor data health via dashboards, identify anomalies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Integration & Automation
- Oversee and optimise live integrations, automated workflows, APIs, and form ingests to ensure reliable CRM data capture.
- Coordinate issue resolution with IT and vendors for data capture problems (e.g., event registrations, surveys, donations).
- Support documentation workflows and cloud integration via SharePoint.
Reporting & Analytics
- Deliver accurate ad-hoc reports in response to business queries.
- Develop and maintain self-service dashboards and visualizations for fundraising, operations, and finance teams.
- Apply data visualization principles to ensure reports are accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
- Validate report data quality and ensure timely delivery within agreed SLAs.
User Support & Governance
- Manage CRM user lifecycle including onboarding, permissions, and offboarding.
- Enforce best practices such as naming conventions, data entry protocols, and change management procedures.
- Provide training, documentation, and hands-on support to users.
- Monitor CRM adoption and license usage; report on metrics and recommend improvements.
Technical Project Management
- Coordinate CRM upgrades, patching, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with vendors and internal teams.
- Create clear technical specifications for connectors, workflows, and integrations.
- Track project budgets, timelines, and risks to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar ETL/ELT platforms.
- Proficiency with REST APIs, including Power Automate workflows.
- Advanced dashboarding skills (Power BI or equivalent) with data storytelling ability.
- Foundation in statistical analysis for impactful data interpretation.
- Experience using SharePoint for documentation and workflow integration.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using automation tools like Zapier to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Preferred
- Experience in charity or not-for-profit sectors, particularly in fundraising or supporter engagement.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse).
- Exposure to Azure data services (Data Factory, Azure SQL) and warehousing tools.
- Knowledge of GDPR, data governance, and responsible data stewardship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to produce accessible technical documentation.
- Experience managing vendors and cross-functional projects.
- Awareness of other data platforms such as Databricks, GCP, and Alteryx.
- Awareness of WordPress and how it integrates with CRM tools

Work Environment
- This position is based at the Marie Keating Foundation’s office in Tallaght, Dublin with a hybrid work model (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).

Benefits and Perks
- Salary: Up to €40,000 for a four-day week (equivalent to €50,000 full-time), with pro-rata options based on experience.
- Flexible working hours between (8:00–18:00 with one hour lunch break, four days/week) with occasional flexibility.

- Pro-rata 23 days annual leave plus three privilege days (Christmas and Good Friday).
