Crowley Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Technical Design Visualiser to join our Drawing Office team. This role focuses on producing precise 3D and 2D visualisations, animations, and technical drawings to support major engineering and construction projects.
You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to transform complex technical concepts into clear, visually impactful materials. This includes sequencing construction phases, creating safety training visuals, and supporting client presentations for tenders and proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret CAD drawings, engineering plans, and specifications to create accurate 3D and 2D models.
- Develop animated sequences illustrating construction timelines, deconstruction processes, and project phases.
- Produce high-quality visual presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Create technical illustrations and safety training assets, including VR/AI-ready materials.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and visual clarity.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in 3D Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Technical Drawing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience producing technical visualisations for engineering, architecture, or construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Blender, Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Valid drivers licence.
