Territory Manager - South Leinster


Major Tasks:

Achieve all KPIs in line with the Sales Incentive Plan created by the Pharmacy Field Sales Manager / Channel Manager (local & national basis).

Effectively manage all pharmacy accounts within your assigned territory, including:

  • National / Key Accounts: Support and drive growth via POS implementation, merchandising, training, and alignment with Field Sales Manager/Channel Manager.
  • Mini Key Accounts: Present BCH commercial plans and benefits (SKU range, visibility, promotions), and follow up to ensure activation.
  • Independent Pharmacies: Build Bayer’s presence by developing strong relationships with key stakeholders (buyers, OTC staff), providing training and tailored support in line with sales cycle priorities.

Educate, train, and motivate relevant pharmacy staff on the product attributes of Bayer focus brands.

Monitor and execute merchandising planograms in line with BCH visual standards.

Maintain effective journey plans for your territory and ensure alignment with cycle objectives.

Identify e-commerce opportunities within your territory and coordinate execution aligned with BCH digital strategy. Ensure Digital Ways of Working (WOW) are visible and active.

Analyse and report on team and territory performance monthly using Arcos, Tableau, and other market/competitive insights.

Actively participate in sales meetings (face-to-face and virtual).

Ensure GDPR-compliant data collection across all customer engagements and support field team compliance in this area.

Support new product launches across pharmacy by coordinating visibility, training and feedback collection at store level.

Contribute insights from the field (product performance, competitor tactics, planogram execution) to help shape future cycle strategies.


Who You Are:

  • Education: Degree-level education preferred.
  • Solid experience in FMCG or OTC pharmaceutical sales.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with sound business acumen.
  • Analytical mindset with good initiative.
  • Motivation, passion, and enthusiasm.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and actively seek out development opportunities.
