Are you a dedicated and compassionate nurse with a passion for wound care and clinical excellence? Droimnin Nursing Home is currently seeking a skilled Tissue Viability Nurse (TVN) to join our warm and supportive team.
About the Role:
As our TVN, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing evidence-based wound care and tissue viability practices for our residents. You’ll provide specialist advice and training to nursing staff and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct wound assessments and develop individualised care plans
- Support and advise nursing staff on complex wound management
- Monitor healing progress and adjust care plans as necessary
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams as required
- Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide education and training to staff on tissue viability and wound prevention
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RPN) with NMBI registration
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in wound care or tissue viability
- Strong clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge of best practices in tissue viability
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to delivering person-centred care
Working Hours:
- Full-time, 5 days per week with flexibility on hours
- Some weekend work will be required on an agreed basis
