Job Title: Treasury Manager
Reports to: Finance Manager
Location: BoyleSports HQ, Dundalk
Role Purpose
As the Treasury Manager you will be responsible for the management of the banking operations of the Retail and Online business units. This will include control of all bank accounts and associated reconciliations, while also being the key point of contact for Group banking relationships internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the treasury team to ensure bank reconciliations are performed for all bank accounts on a monthly basis
- Intricate bank recs over various online platforms for a number of currencies
- Ability to communicate with our platform providers and our internal teams to reconcile outstanding items
- Work in partnership with our payments and banking providers to optimise core KPI’s (eg decline rates, chargebacks, cash differences, unreconciled lodgements)
- Manage currency portfolios, multi-currency accounts and Funding of accounts
- Partnering with Security and Operations teams to ensure adherence to cash profile policies
- Work with various teams within the business to improve the quality and efficiency of processes
- Work closely with the financial reporting team to ensure all reporting requirements are met in a timely manner
- Review, develop and prepare regular management information on the Treasury operations, including the interest charge, cash balance, treasury management information and general accounting information
- Produce cash flow forecasting across the Group
- Work with the external auditors during their annual systems audit and financial audits to ensure they have no areas of concern with regards to treasury
- Manage the Treasury team and ensure SMART objectives, succession planning, training, etc is in place to support the ongoing development of the team
- Provide analytical support for ad hoc systems and treasury projects
- Liase and engage with 3rd party relationships for active treasury engagement
- Provide guidance and recommendations on how best to manage bank account and cash balances
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Senior Treasury role
Specialist Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in a high transactional volume Treasury department and working within a fast paced ever changing industry
- Strong IT skills and a detailed knowledge of excel would is a prerequisite, eg Pivot tables , vlookups etc
- Ability to adapt
