We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled UPS Technical Manager in Dublin to lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems across our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in power systems, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing UPS infrastructure in mission-critical environments such as data centers, industrial plants, or large-scale commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- UPS System Oversight:
Manage the lifecycle of UPS systems, including installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and upgrades. - Technical Leadership:
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for UPS technologies and provide technical guidance to engineering and operations teams. - Project Management:
Lead UPS-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. - Vendor Coordination:
Evaluate, select, and manage vendors and service providers for UPS systems and associated components (e.g., batteries, inverters, generators). - Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all UPS systems comply with industry regulations, internal standards, and safety protocols (e.g., IEEE, NFPA, OSHA). - Performance Monitoring:
Utilize monitoring tools and analytics to track UPS performance, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues. - Team Management:
Supervise and mentor technical staff and field technicians involved in UPS operations and maintenance. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation, including technical schematics, maintenance logs, and incident reports. Provide regular performance and status updates to senior leadership.
