Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture and bedding to customers' homes and businesses.
- Assemble and install furniture as needed upon delivery.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures, including manual handling best practices.
- Communicate with the dispatch team regarding delivery updates and any potential issues.
Requirements:
- Full B Driving Licence (Required).
- Previous experience in furniture delivery (Essential).
- Furniture assembly knowledge (Advantageous).
- Manual Handling Certificate (Preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills in English (Required).
- Neat and professional appearance (Uniforms provided).
- Punctual, reliable, and courteous.
Schedule:
- Day shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Some holiday work may be required
