North Cork Electrical is seeking a dedicated Warehouse & Purchasing Supervisor to join our growing team. This is not a short-term role — we are looking for someone who is ready to commit long-term and grow with us.
The ideal candidate will have experience in stock control and purchasing, along with a strong sense of organisation and reliability. A knowledge of electrical materials is preferred, as you'll be working closely with our team to ensure the right products and parts are always on hand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving goods, managing inventory, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure materials are correctly stored and tracked.
- Purchase stock and materials based on project needs and inventory levels.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and best pricing.
- Work closely with electricians and project teams to understand material requirements.
- Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Support the company in streamlining systems and improving efficiency.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, stock control, or purchasing.
- Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented.
- Computer literate and comfortable using stock or purchasing software.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Electrical materials knowledge is preferred.
- Forklift certification is an advantage (not required).
- Willingness to be part of a long-term team and grow with the business.
