Job Purpose
As Warehouse Supervisor you will report to and provide direct support to the Warehouse Manager in the day to day running of the operation. You will oversee a team of Warehouse Operatives ensuring all tasks are completed with accuracy and efficiency and maximise warehouse productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties will include but not limited to the following:
- Supervise a team of Warehouse Operatives and work "hands on" in a busy warehouse
- Manage the workflow in the warehouse including packing stations, manual picking, processing stations and goods in
- Coaching all new team members in company standards, job duties and customer service
- Ensuring that operations are compliant with health and safety policies
- Co-ordinating labour requirements in-line with workload
- Ensuring excellent housekeeping standards are maintained
- Constantly looking for areas of improvement in processes of the business
- Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise functions and keep staff motivated
- Flexibility within the role and able to cover a variety of areas within the Warehouse
- The ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including pallet trucks and forklift vehicles
Additional
- Assisting in any special assignments/projects as requested ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Be able to work overtime and weekends when required
Administration
- Responsible for accuracy of all paperwork and figure work
Experience and Skills
Education and Training
- Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is preferable although not essential
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
- Experience of using warehouse management systems is essential
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential
- Warehouse manual handling preferable (although training available)
Work Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a busy warehouse environment
- The ability to plan-ahead and manage your time
- Experience in using a Stock management system
- Understanding of stock takes/PI counts
- Picking, packing use of labelling systems for despatch (FED-EX, DHL and DPD)

Pay: From €15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
