Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced driver. This is a full-time position that requires a dedicated and safety-conscious professional with excellent driving skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate a 3.5-tonne truck to transport goods safely and efficiently.
· Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care.
· Conduct daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
· Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
· Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
Requirements:
· Must hold a full and valid category B Irish driving licence.
· Must hold a valid Irish work permit.
· Good geographical knowledge and ability to navigate efficiently.
· Strong time management and organisational skills.
· A clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
· Good English is essential.
· Knowledge of Greater Dublin would be an advantage, but not a necessary requirement.
