We are currently recruiting a dependable and experienced abnormal load driver to join our team in Carlow.
Responsibilities:
Operate Low Loader and HIAB-equipped vehicles to move large machinery and wide/oversized loads
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, roadworthiness, and overall condition to a high standard
Strictly adhere to all transport legislation, site safety rules, and operational procedures
Candidate Requirements:
Solid background in abnormal load transport, especially involving heavy plant equipment or wide units
Prior hands-on experience in a non-standard driving role is essential – this is a specialist position
Attention to detail and pride in keeping vehicles well-presented and fully operational
Possession of a HIAB certificate and prior Low Loader experience is highly advantageous
