The Fairview Boutique Hotel, centrally located in the heart of Killarney, is currently recruiting an Accommodation Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This position offers daytime hours, ideal for someone seeking a well-balanced work schedule in a professional hospitality setting.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual with experience in the hospitality sector, who takes pride in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and quality standards in a 4-star hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department
· Ensure all rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas meet 4-star cleanliness standards
· Manage and train accommodation staff, developing a positive and efficient team
· Maintain inventory of linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, and equipment
· Liaise with maintenance to address and follow up on reported issues
· Monitor and report on quality control and staff performance
· Carry out other duties as assigned by management
Key Requirements:
· Proven experience in a housekeeping or accommodation management role, preferably in a 4-star hotel or similar environment
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail and a passion for high standards
· Ability to motivate, train and manage a team effectively
· Fluent English (spoken and written)
· Organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
