Account Manager l Sales l Manufacturing l B2B
An opportunity exists for a full-time, permanent, Account Manager to join our state of the art plant in Clara, Co Offaly.
Is responsible for maintaining and commercially developing existing and new accounts. Optimizes his/her own work process, in consultation with the Sales Director. A commercial function, focused on account management and acquisition. Has commercial, logistical and analytical elements, which are considered interconnected. Focus on standard customer/product portfolio.
In this role you are responsible for:
· Develop long-term relationships, connection and collaboration with customers and other relevant target groups and managing a customer portfolio within his or her domain or market, in order to achieve sales goals.
· Advising and informing (potential) customers about the organization's services, thinking about solutions and drawing up a first (tailor-made) plan and offer for the customer in collaboration with the functional managers within the organization.
· Realization of sales in order to achieve revenue targets.
· Drawing up an account plan for assigned (existing and new) accounts with concrete objectives and sales forecast for the allocated accounts and determining how qualitative and quantitative objectives are achieved.
· Contribute to the preparation of commercial policy, including market editing activities, of the organization in line with the organizational strategy.
· Negotiate contract terms and conclusion of contracts within the directives laid down as well as participate in or lead tenders/procurement and optimize these processes.
· Monitoring compliance with contract agreements, identifying deviations and conducting periodic evaluation and progress interviews with customers.
· Identify and analyze relevant information and developments among customers, in the total market and in their own field, actively sharing with relevant parties and translate them into concrete commercial and market processing activities within own departments
· Proactively managing customer satisfaction, service & delivery by anticipating potential service problems and monitoring success.
· Additional sales support with other customers and departments as required.
· Preparing and issuing of quotations to both existing portfolio of customers and new ones. Ensuring that margins are achieved as well as strategic goals.
· Flexibility in terms of travel requirements/over-night stays; Participation at various networking events and trade shows.
Essential Criteria:
· Bachelor level (or equivalent) with 4-6 years of relevant experience
· Resilient personality with good time Management & Organizational skills.
· Metric driven and accountable for results.
· Self- directed, high achiever
Experience:
· Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
· Business Acumen.
· Technical insight.
· Ability to build strong customer relationships.
· Ability to attain targets.
· Excellent Communicator.
· Commercial/sales experience in a B2B environment.
· Experience working in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
· Experience of using and updating CRM systems.
