Hire Here Ltd is an Irish business, family run for the past 55 years. Based in South Circular Rd, Dublin 8, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance functions. The ideal candidate will have an accounting background, demonstrate strong organisational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced business environment with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Function : Processing Supplier invoices, monthly reconciling supplier statements and matching payments on the accounts system.

Liaising with suppliers and the wider team to resolve any queries and ensuring good relationships are maintained.

Sales Invoicing/Accounts receivable ledger: Sending invoices and statements, checking for errors and then processing invoices into the accounts system.

Managing Debtors and Credit Control.

Liaising with customers and the wider team to resolve any queries.

Daily monitoring of cash flow and end of day reconciliations .

File maintenance on the accounts package.

Debtors receipts, creditors payments and reconciliations across multiple entities.

Automated payment runs.

Processing direct debits.

Setting up on-line banking.

Monthly reporting to the Clients and Financial Controller.

Monthly Bank reconciliations.

Vat Returns.

Assisting in preparation of Year End reports for Auditors.

General administration and any ad hoc duties.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar finance or administrative role.

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Accounting and statistics background or experience is a plus

Must have excellent timekeeping with the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

A good knowledge of MS office packages - specifically Excel and Word.

Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

Highly motivated with an ability to take ownership and multi-task.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to pro-actively communicate with third parties.

Capacity to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €36,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
