Overview / Purpose of the Role
The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for handling invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts to ensure timely payment from customers and to maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- AR responsibility for the United Drug ledgers
- Review all accounts regularly to ensure adherence to payment terms
- Work with Master Data & Quality to ensure that new customer accounts are created when required
- Resolve billing queries received from customers
- Provide ad hoc reporting requests to customers
- Ensure regular correspondence with delinquent accounts
- Discuss account resolution with internal parties such as sales and commerical teams
- Prepare overdue commentary for debtors pack
- Support wider AR & finance team with interim and year-end audit
Key Experience / Skills / Education
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to take initiative, be innovative and to work under pressure
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- AWARDS & SAP experience advantageous but not essential
