Ashlawn House Nursing Home is a 52-bed private nursing home located in Carrigatoher, 3.5 miles from Nenagh, Co Tipperary. We provide quality, person-centered residential care for both long-term and short-term stays.
The purpose of the role of Activities Co-ordinator is to work in conjunction with management and nursing staff to provide person-centered care to our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and delivering a regular programme of social activities for our residents, in both group and individual settings, ensuring the highest standard of person-centered care is delivered.
Required Education, Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant experience along with good communication skills
- Good knowledge of HIQA standards
- Have a kind and compassionate nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Training will be provided
- Fluent level of English, both written and oral
