Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and energetic After School Assistant to support our after-school program from 1.30 to 6pm Monday to Friday. We are located in Rosscahill Galway. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children aged 6-12, assisting with activities, homework, and supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children during after-school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with homework, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Organize and lead recreational activities, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting teamwork and good behavior.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff about student progress and any concerns.
- Help with the setup and cleanup of the program area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage children in various activities.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
