>Afterschool Lead Educator (up to 29 hrs)
> Breakfast Club Assistant (7.45-8.45am)
Job Responsibilities
- Promote age appropriate activities for children aged 5-15 years
- Maintain room, and equipment, to ensure the health and safety of children at all times
- Ensure a good standard of hygiene
- Supervise homework activities
- Attend meetings and undergo training as required
- Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
- FETAC Level 5 in Childcare (Desirable)
- Work experience working with children (Desirable)
- Mandatory training – Paediatric First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire safety desirable – provided if necessary
- Complete Garda Vetting
Person Specifications:
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Kindness, warmth and responsiveness to the needs of children
- Good Communication and Relating Skills with children, staff and parents
- Have a sense of humour
