Role Description
As a member of our agri and trade counter team, you will be the first point of contact for our farming, building, and trade customers. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, can offer advice and ensure excellent customer service. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities and duties
- Serve and support customers at the agri and trade counter in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide accurate and practical product advice tailored to customer needs
- Process till transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle phone and email enquiries related to agri and trade sales
- Maintain well-stocked and clean displays, ensuring products are correctly priced
- Assist in ordering and restocking agri and trade items
- Support the team with inventory checks, incoming deliveries and general stock control
- Stay up-to-date with seasonal farming needs, product ranges, and promotions
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth service across the store
- Adhere to all company procedures and health and safety policies
Requirements
- Previous experience in agri supply, hardware, trade sales, or similar retail environment
- A strong knowledge or keen interest in agricultural products and hardware supplies
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to work
