The Garage Navan is excited to offer a Full-Time Apprentice Car Mechanic position for individuals eager to kickstart their careers in the automotive industry. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced mechanics to learn the skills necessary for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior mechanics in performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues under supervision.
- Participate in thorough inspections to identify potential problems and understand necessary repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop and assist in managing tools and equipment.
- Observe and learn from experienced team members to develop your skills and knowledge of automotive systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- A strong interest in automotive repair and a desire to learn.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
