About the Role
We’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Area Healthcare Supervisor to join our growing team at Brindley Healthcare Services. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and organised professional ready to take the lead in supporting both our clients and carers, while maintaining our high standards of care.
You’ll play a key role in supervising care delivery, mentoring staff, performing risk assessments, and supporting business growth across your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular care supervision and risk assessment visits
- Support and mentor healthcare assistants in the field
- Lead by example and promote best practice in care delivery
- Liaise with Area Managers daily and respond to key client or care events
- Participate in training, scheduling support, audits, and compliance monitoring
- Manage KPI reporting, staff performance tracking, and care documentation
- Cover calls when needed and participate in out-of-hours on-call rota
- Promote the growth of services within HSE and private sectors
- Maintain and oversee OneTouch data governance and care journal use
- Champion a client-first, team-driven culture of care excellence
Who We’re Looking For:
- QQI Level 6 or working towards a supervisory qualification
- Previous experience as a supervisor, senior carer, or team lead in home or healthcare
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of safeguarding, dementia care, moving & handling, and risk management
- Proficient with care systems (e.g. OneTouch) and general IT tools
- Full Irish driving license and access to your own vehicle
- Flexible, empathetic, and able to thrive under pressure
