About the Role:
Banagher Precast Concrete are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Artic (HGV) Driver who will also assist with slat installation work. The role involves a mix of driving articulated trucks for the delivery of precast concrete products and hands-on installation work on agricultural projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain articulated trucks in compliance with Irish road safety laws.
- Transport precast concrete slats and related products to sites nationwide.
- Assist with unloading, positioning, and installation of concrete slats on-site.
- Work as part of a team to complete installation projects efficiently and safely.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance requirements.
- Adhere to health & safety guidelines at all times.
- Ad-hoc duties where required
Requirements:
- Full clean CE Licence (Artic licence).
- Valid CPC Card & Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in driving articulated trucks in Ireland.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual/installation work.
- Experience in construction or installation work an advantage (training provided if required).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility for nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays.
- Valid work permit for Ireland
- Forklift & crane experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience in a busy environment
