Due to its ongoing expansion, Prodig Attachments, based in Co. Carlow is recruiting a Assembly Fitter to work as part of a growing organisation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate where you will gain vast and varied industry experience, whilst developing your career in a diverse work environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Follow the production schedule to meet targets.
- Assemble parts and components according to company procedures, specifications, and drawings.
- Review work orders and drawings to identify required materials and assembly instructions.
- Utilize tools and machinery for assembly.
- Inspect and test completed components and assemblies for quality.
- Address or reject faulty parts and rectify issues as needed
- Complete job cards and related documentation accurately.
- Adhere to quality standards and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to prioritize workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Perform stock control and other assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve weekly production goals.
- Other duties that maybe assigned and aligned to the role.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €32,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
