Job description
The role of the Risk & Compliance Executive is to support the Risk and Compliance Department in driving and promoting a culture of compliance and championing an environment of excellence across the Irish business. This role will support the Risk and Compliance Manager with reviewing the effectiveness of the internal controls, governance and management systems within the company and establishing and executing the risk and compliance program.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to enter the competitive Risk & Compliance field and gain valuable experience in a fast paced environment.
Duties shall include but will not be limited to:
- Assist in driving the compliance program within the relevant activities to deliver the agreed objectives.
- Assist in evaluating the level of compliance with statutory regulations, legislation and the company’s objectives, plans, policies and procedures.
- Assist in developing the risk management framework.
- Assist in the planning, organising and execution of audits and evaluations across all activities.
- Maintain all the files and documents related to the quality procedures, quality audit etc in an orderly fashion.
Essential Criteria:
- A strong interest in compliance monitoring and risk management.
- Proficient computer and data entry skills required
Desirable:
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to make quick and appropriate decisions
- Proficient at multitasking and prioritising
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
- Ability to interact within all levels of the organization
- Detail oriented and capable of interpreting data
- Microsoft Excel skills
