We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join the team. You will report to and provide ongoing support to the General Manager to manage the day to day operations of Inver Service Station.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of all departments, including retail, food service, off licence and fuel.
- Manage stock levels, suppliers and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally.
- Support financial planning, budgeting and cost control measures.
- Implement marketing and promotional initiatives to drive business growth.
- Recruit, train and mentor staff to enhance team performance and development.
Requirements
- Previous management experience in a retail or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.
- Knowledge of stock control, financial management and operational procedures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
