We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Night Manager to join our dynamic team.
As the Assistant Night Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the nightly operations, managing guest inquiries and requests, supervising the night team members and ensuring the safety and security of the premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all night shift operations, including front desk activities, housekeeping, and security procedures.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Oversee the night audit process to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Monitor security cameras and patrol the premises to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues.
- Handle any emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night, following established protocols and procedures.
- Assist in training and supervising night team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities during the night shift.
- Prepare and distribute reports detailing nightly activities, including occupancy rates, incidents, and guest feedback.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and other relevant computer applications.
- Availability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of service and professionalism.
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
