Position: Assistant Reservations Manager (Full-Time Permanent)
Location: Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort, Blessington, Co. Wicklow
Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort are looking for a new Assistant Reservations Manager to join the management team in the beautiful Blessington Resort!
Our Hotel

Our luxurious hotel consists of 90 guest rooms and 3 self-catering lodges with their own unique story and style which provide the perfect setting for weddings and all sorts of special events. The Brasserie and The Fairways Restaurant serve an array of delicious food in a relaxing environment which boasts panoramic views across our golf course, the Blessington Lakes and Wicklow Mountains. Located just 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50, the hotel is easily accessible.
Your New Role
Reporting directly to the hotel's Reservations & Revenue Manager & Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be a professional and polished individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. The successful candidate will have at least 2 - 3 years hotel reservations experience. You will demonstrate excellent team leading abilities as well as the initiative required to multi task in this busy environment.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for assisting with the efficient running of the Reservations activities ensuring highest standard of customer service
- Responsibility for training and development of existing and new members of staff through use of SOP's with the support of Manager
- Supporting the Reservations team & taking reservations
- Yield and overseeing of website management
- Maintaining procedures and implementing new procedures if / when necessary
- Growing of clients and group booking on a constant daily basis
- Dealing with guests and fellow colleagues on a constant daily basis
- Other duties as required
HotSoft knowledge would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Must have previous experience in a similar role in a hotel
- Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service
- Must be a team player with the ability to multi task
- Must be standards driven and detail orientated, with the desire to progress within the hospitality industry
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Communicate fluently in English (written & oral).
- The role will involve shift work meaning you will be required to work 5 days out of a 7 day week (weekend work also will be involved).
- All applicants must have permission to work in Ireland.
