Join our dynamic team as a Retail Assistant Manager. You will support the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and managing the daily operations of the store. Your leadership and organizational skills will ensure a high-performing team and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee inventory management, merchandising, and store appearance to ensure a high standard of presentation.
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and promptness.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and control store expenses, minimizing shrinkage and ensuring accurate cash handling.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in retail.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build customer relationships.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software is preferred.
