We’re a private members Yacht Club with a passion for great service and creating memorable experiences for our members.
We’re now looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Supervisor to help lead our team and keep service running smoothly.
The Role
As Bar Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of the action – supporting the management team, leading shifts, and ensuring our members receive the best service possible. You’ll be a role model for the team, taking responsibility for the bar operation when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising bar and floor staff during busy shifts
- Preparing and serving a wide range of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
- Taking and servicing food orders
- Delivering excellent customer service in a busy environment
- Acting as a key holder – opening and closing the venue securely
- Leading by example to deliver excellent food & drink service
- Training, motivating, and supporting team members
- Monitoring stock levels, restocking, and ensuring proper rotation
- Handling cash, till reconciliation, and banking procedures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints professionally
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior bar role
- Key holder experience with responsibility for opening/closing a venue
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- A hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be fluent in both verbal and written English
- Must have a valid work permit and be legally permitted to work in Ireland.
