Basic Grade Pharmaceutical Technician

Applications are invited for the above post from suitably qualified and/or experienced candidates.
The ideal candidate will on the closing date of application for this position:
- Possess the Pharmaceutical Technician Diploma awarded by the University of Dublin or
- Possess a Pharmacy Technicians qualification at QQI Level 6 awarded by the Technological University Dublin, Technological University of the Shannon, Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology Carlow or Munster Technological University
or
- Possess the Pharmacy Services Certificate (NVQ 3) offered by the Irish Pharmaceutical Union or
- Aseptic Cytotoxic Compounding skills including chemotherapy is desirable
- Hospital experience is desirable
- Have excellent time management and organisational skills
- Be flexible and capable of working on his/her own initiative
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- This position is a rotational role and may involve rotations to all areas in the Pharmacy Department as required.
