Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Boner to join our skilled production team. The ideal candidate will have strong knife skills, a good understanding of meat preparation, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Boning and trimming meat to specification.
- Ensuring minimal waste and maximum yield.
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and speed while working safely.
- Following all food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
- Assisting in other meat preparation tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in meat boning (pork/bacon).
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a chilled environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene.
- Working hours 7:30am - 4:30pm with flexibility required during busier periods.
