Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in service-based industries, be proficient in accounting software, and understand the unique financial workflows of cleaning contracts, staff scheduling, and supply management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for cleaning contracts, supplies, and payroll.
- Record daily financial transactions including client invoices, supplier bills, and petty cash.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Track expenses related to cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and transportation.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with VAT returns and audits.
- Liaise with operations managers to align financial data with service delivery.
Qualifications And Skills:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a service or cleaning industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Business Central).
- Familiarity with payroll systems and timesheet processing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with non-financial staff.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with contract-based billing and job costing.
- Understanding of cleaning industry operations and terminology.
- Ability to manage multiple sites or contracts simultaneously.
- Excel power user
