Job Description
The Menlo Park hotel is recruiting a kitchen assistant to work alongside our breakfast chef in the preparation and serving of breakfast. This is a full time position working 5 days per week which may include weekends and bank holidays. Monday to Friday the start time is 6.30am and 7.00am on Saturday and Sunday.
Key Responsibilities include:
- To assist the breakfast chefs to prepare, cook and present food to the required standards.
- Have good organisational skills and be able to work well under pressure
- The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Will have excellent customer care skills as will have direct contact with guests at breakfast each day.
- A Good level of written and spoken English required
- It is desirable that the successful candidate will be familiar with general HAACP principles and have some experience working in a busy kitchen or busy deli or retail environment but if not full training will be provided.
All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Ireland in Ireland on a full time basis. We are not in a position to assist with visa/work permits.
