As a Team Member at O’Briens Sandwich Café, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality food in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, handling cash and POS transactions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
You’ll work closely with a small team, often during busy lunch hours, and be expected to uphold O’Briens’ commitment to freshness, presentation, and customer satisfaction. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, wraps, and salads to order
- Operate coffee machines and prepare hot and cold beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and dining area
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene standards
- Process payments and manage till operations accurately
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet service goals

Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality (preferred but not required)
- Energetic, dependable, and customer-focused
- Able to work flexible shifts including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene
