Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Dublin. The role involves working on construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects, delivering high-quality finishes in line with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install timber and wood-based products (doors, windows, frames, flooring, roofing, furniture, etc.).
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Carry out repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance of wooden structures and fittings.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Recognised qualification in Carpentry (e.g., QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Craft – Carpentry & Joinery, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a carpenter in construction, joinery, or furniture making.
- Strong technical knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
- Work both independently and as part of a team on construction sites or in workshops.
- Liaise with supervisors, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ability to read drawings and work with precision.
Additional Requirements
- Valid Safe Pass (mandatory in Ireland).
- Manual Handling certification (advantage).
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €18.14-€23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 39 per week
