The Safeguarding Lead will be the first point of contact for staff members for all Safeguarding concerns. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures, providing expert advice and support to managers, and overseeing compliance with relevant legislation.
Location- Dublin 15 (Hybrid)
Hours - 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
Permanent - Full time

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Own car and valid licence (required)
- Reference checks x2 required before starting.
About the position:
- To review any safeguarding-related concerns/complaints received to the company by the regulating body and or existing, future or past users of our service.
- To complete Corrective Action and Preventative Action plans (CAPA) in response to any complaints or concerns received.
- To liaise accordingly with the relevant departments (Operations, Finance) to assist with the assessment and response to concerns/complaints.
- To ensure adequate risk assessments and potential thresholds of harm are effectively considered and communicated to the relevant advisors.
- To advise the relevant service teams on any actions or communications that are required on a general level to service delivery teams to help prevent or correct any corresponding safeguarding risks or concerns across the business.
- To provide any advice or support to the relevant operations teams that will improve safety standards at Sherpa Kids.
- Refer to or develop any relevant Safeguarding instructions, check lists, visual aids or training that will help maintain Safeguarding standards
