We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Chopper Machine Operator to join our team in Tipperary .
Responsibilities
Operate machinery safely and efficiently for harvest, transport, and field preparation
Perform basic daily checks and assist with general machinery upkeep
Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflows during busy harvest windows
Operate excavators for trenching, drainage, and general earthworks during winter
Participate in general farm maintenance and contribute to equipment upkeep
Be proactive in learning new skills – fabrication and repair training available onsite
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience operating agricultural or heavy machinery
Mechanically minded with a hands-on attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and take pride in machine care and fieldwork
Australian working rights or open to sponsorship for the right candidate
Must be available for seasonal work hours during busy harvest periods
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €27,000.00-€35,567.13 per year
Work Location: In person
