SUMMARY OF ROLE:

CField is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious Apprentice to join our the Civil Engineering and Project teams whilst working towards successful completion of a Civil Engineering Apprenticeship. This is an Earn as you Learn Apprenticeship Model, and includes the opportunity to completing a Level 6 (two years) or Level 7 (three years) qualification, with a schedule of working 4 days onsite per week and 1 day per week attending university.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical and hands-on engineering experience, earn a qualification and carve out a long-term career in Civil Engineering in a varied and exciting industry. The role offers the successful candidate to be part of a profession tasked with creating infrastructure and spaces that make a tangible difference to people’s lives. It offers strong prospects for both personal and professional development within a supportive learning-focused environment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN OUR APPRENTICE:

  • Eligible to live and work in Ireland (where the role is based)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Willing to commit to a minimum of 2 years
  • QQI Level 5 (or equivalent) with a Pass grade in Mathematics
  • An interest in Civil Engineering and the built environment
  • Solid literacy, verbal and numeracy skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn, adapting to a dynamic work environment
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively
  • Good timekeeping
