We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team and help us keep our bar in pristine condition.
Position Overview
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and premesis, ensuring that all areas are tidy, sanitized, and presentable for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work efficiently, and take pride in creating a clean and inviting space.
The Role
- Heavy Cleaning Duties: Carry out heavy cleaning tasks. Sweep, mop, and hoover floors. Clean and sanitise bar counters, tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
- Toilet Maintenance: Regularly clean and sanitise toilets restock supplies, and ensure they are always presentable and in good working order.
- Waste Removal: Empty bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly. Ensure that bin areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Stocking Supplies: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and other essentials as needed.
- General Upkeep: Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including shelves, displays, and lighting fixtures. Clean windows and mirrors.
- Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Deliveries: Assist with deliveries on occasion.
The Candidate
- Must have the ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
- Available to work from 6 am to 12 mid-day.
- A good communicator.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of cleaning products and safety protocols.
