Job Advert: Cleaner - Donaghmede Inn
About the Role:
As our Cleaner, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the Donaghmede Inn is presented to the highest standards every day. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all areas of the pub.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Bar & Lounge Areas: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors, surfaces, and furniture.
- Restrooms: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising all toilet facilities, ensuring they are well-stocked.
- Kitchen/Back of House: Cleaning designated kitchen areas, staff rooms, and storage spaces as required.
- Waste Management: Emptying bins and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- General Maintenance: Wiping down windows, polishing fixtures, and ensuring all areas are tidy and presentable.
- Health & Safety: Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Reporting: Promptly reporting any maintenance issues or cleaning supply needs to management.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial or hospitality setting, is a plus, but not essential for the right candidate.
- Reliability: You must be punctual and consistent in your work.
- Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail to ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
- Initiative: Ability to work independently and identify areas that require attention.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physical tasks associated with cleaning.
- Flexibility: Availability to work early mornings or late evenings as required (please specify preferred working hours if known, e.g., "typically early mornings").
- Trustworthy: A dependable and honest individual.
