We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative/Cleaner to maintain our yard area and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the yard and stock is clean, organized, and safe. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform physical labor.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and deliveries.
- Processing equipment returns on a daily basis and ensuring correct paperwork is recorded accurately
- Completing checklists for units prior to delivery and on return
- Perform routine maintenance tasks around the yard, including sweeping, cleaning, and organizing.
- Preparation of units prior to delivery
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Manager
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Manage waste disposal processes, including segregation and recycling
- Ensure waste bins are emptied regularly and the yard area is free from litter.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing tasks.
- Report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly to the Manager.
