- Full time position
Responsibilities
- Ensure all cleaning standards, as defined in the agreement between the hospital and Bidvest Noonan are met consistently
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards
- Participate in Environmental Management Audits with hospital Ward/Department Managers
- Implement the QIP following hospital management audits
- Complete monthly audits of areas as directed by Site Manager
- Ensure implementation of corrective action including re-audit
- Proactively solicit feedback from customers in respect of hygiene and cleaning standards
- Proactively manage the performance of the team within the contract in accordance with company Policy and Procedures
- Support Contract Manager
- Mentor and provide leadership and guidance to the team
- Complete attendance records, ensuring hours claimed accurately reflect hours worked
- Complete the training of new colleagues in accordance with BIC’S standard as required and maintain training records
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or relevant role, preferably in a Healthcare setting
- Excellent time keeping and attendance
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Self-motivated and a team leader
- Ability to adapt to change in schedules
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- A valid Visa enabling the holder to work in the Republic of Ireland
