We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction activities on residential and/or commercial projects in Galway.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day running of the construction site from initial groundwork to final handover
Coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and project milestones are met
Maintain accurate site records and reporting using digital platforms (training on Procore or similar can be provided)
Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Oversee works from internal finishes (plastering, skimming) to snagging and final client handover
Implement and enforce health & safety protocols and site regulations
Liaise with the project team, suppliers, and clients to ensure effective communication
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Site Manager or similar role
Trade background preferred (e.g. carpentry, plastering, etc.)
Ability to manage high-pressure deadlines while upholding quality standards
Proficient in interpreting architectural and construction drawings
Solid understanding of Irish building codes, certification processes, and construction regulations
Proven experience managing the final stages of construction projects (2nd/3rd fix, finishes, handover)
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
