The Cost Accountant will be involved in product costing, provision of transfer prices, preparation of corresponding reports, comparison of standard costs with actual costs and justification of deviations.
Job Description:
- Acting as a trusted partner to key stakeholders in Operations
- Investigate deviations betwen standard costs and actual costs
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate costing
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual reports
- Support for Annual cost rollup
- Support for Annual Stock Count
- Preparation of ad hoc analysis and reports
- Setting the costs of new products
- Provision of transfer prices
- Performs and fulfills other tasks according to direct supervisor's instructions
- Contributes to the development and compliance of standards, focusing on the key areas of customer, company culture and continuous improvement system
- Within the framework of the continuous improvement system, submits improvement proposals in accordance with company goals
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Ensure internal controls are maintained and support the annual financial audit process
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant/Qualified by experience
- Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- English language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with ERP system Oracle
- Knowledge of purchase/warehouse/production processes
- Knowledge of accounting processes
- Analytical thinking
