Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused customer assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, operate the till, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean and organised store environment. The goal is to provide a positive shopping experience and support daily retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate till, handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and issue receipts
- Stock shelves and replenish merchandise as needed
- Keep the sales floor clean, organised.
- Follow all store policies, including loss prevention procedures
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and signage
- Handle customer complaints or refer them to a supervisor when necessary
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and busy periods
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
