Job Description
This is a Data Centre Engineer role based with one of our customers, to manage and coordinate all DC activities, including ASP and power, as well as managing footprint. The role interacts with multiple stakeholders and requires strong organisation, communication and inter-personal skills. This is an onsite role based in Dublin.
Responsibilities
The role will involve:
- Data Centre utilisation review
- Project support for I&C
- Rack and stack and commission
- Process documents and FNI approval etc
- Cabling design, infra build
- Managing and implementation of standards across DC space
- Capacity power space management
- Compliance and resilience management
- Planned or emergency works assistance
- Asset register ownership across DC rooms
- Validation of assets
- Decommissions
- Migrations and room refurb support/design/Implementation
- Adhere to all quality and environmental obligations, company environmental policy, Health and Safety requirements, regulations, and safe work practices
