The Glenview Hotel which is situated in Wicklow, on a magnificent panoramic site overlooking the Garden of Ireland. We are now looking for a, career minded individual who shares our passion for delivering the highest standards of customer service. This is a variable hours contract 2-5days per week depending on the level of business.
Requirements
- Available for immediate start
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of Opera an advantage
- Porter experience an advantage but not necessary as training will be given
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Ability to work shifts
- Fluent English & excellent communication skills
- Out going personality and high level of customer care
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist guests with luggage and bring it to their rooms
- To assist guests with directions or day to day questions
- To assist with dinner and lunch bookings when needed
- to answer the phone at reception when needed
- To keep reception clean and tidy at all times
- Ensuring the Terraces and front door are are clean and tidy
- To assist in providing the highest standard of service in Room Service/Lobby service.
- To ensure prompt service.
- To assist in the delivery of room service and the collection of trays from corridors.
- To Hoover Restaurant & Lobby after breakfast service.
- Knowledge of the town & hotel.
- To be familiar with all of the hotel facilities and communicate them to guests
