Deli Sales Assistant
Summary
The Deli Sales Assistant role requires the successful candidate to work as part of the Deli team in the day-to-day operation of the store to ensure all customers receive the highest level of customer service and hygiene at the counter.
Key tasks include:
- Present fresh & attractive counter displays in line with store standards
- Merchandise & rotate stock, ensuring high standards of signage & correct pricing
- Maintain hygiene, food safety and good general housekeeping daily
- Process customer sales & queries in a timely, friendly & helpful manner while promoting offers to add great value to your customers
- Complete stock takes
- Food preparation in line with food safety standards
- Completion of food safety paperwork and documentation
- Cooking and serving food to customers whilst giving them an amazing customer experience
- Daily and deep cleaning of the deli areas and equipment
The ideal candidate will ideally have:
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a busy Deli
- Strong attention to detail and have the ability to organise daily work activity
- Excellent customer Service
- Be a team player
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and an enthusiastic disposition.
Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
