Job Description
Deli assistant required for a busy fresh food deli. Duties will include;
- Friendly service at the deli counter
- Making sandwiches and salads to order
- Prepping salads and vegetables
- Prepping and cooking fresh chicken and breakfast meats
- Keeping all areas clean and tidy to the highest standards
- Following HACCAP procedures

This is a full-time position. We are an award winning busy Daybreak convenience store near Portlaoise by the M7 motorway. The work is fast paced with a high volume of passing trade and regular customers. We are a friendly and supportive team, and will provide full training.
You will gain experience in customer service, stock control, HACCAP & EIQA standards of food preparation and hygiene.
A friendly personality and positive attitude are required.
The deli operates from 6am to 6pm, with each shift 7.5 hours long. Flexibility will be required. Starting pay rate may increase depending on experience.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience in a deli or food preparation and/or customer service is preferred, although on the job training will be provided.
